Of all the big game animals, I think only the Cape Buffalo tips the scale toward the animal. They typically burst out of thick brush and you get one very quick shot or you are dead. FAFO.

my least popular but correct take is that a guy who kills a buffalo for sport is no worse than the guy who demands pigs be killed because they ❤️❤️❤️ bacon or cows corralled to the kill floor for their big macs or who boils lobsters alive to slather them in butter. it’s all cruelty for pleasure.
