I swear years from now people are going to look back at how much control the Fossil Fuel companies had on us and wonder what the hell we were thinking.
How many "years from now" do you think there are going to be?
However long it takes for us to break free of the Oil Company grip plus.... at minimum 5-10 years? It's hard to say since we need to make a lot of changes to get off of our reliance on Oil, which will be difficult, expensive, and prolonged because these guys like their liquid dinosaur money.

Why are wasting lots of taxpayer money already spent, in operation, and tech still functioning as expected.
Because the fossil fuel industries have Trump a lot of money.

This is an incredibly important point. Civil institutions across all sectors need to be coming out in force: science, medicine, socials sciences, law, etc. Revoke licenses. Revoke tenure. Play hardball.
