Esentially it has become easier for gags to recruit youth and for them to fall into violent patters while acessing blade weaponry which has led to violence over turf, status, or any other number of issues.

Yeah, but were talking about a ban that came in around the 80s/90s that led to things like TMNT being renamed Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. It's not a recent thing.
