Yes, I think growing your own vegie gardens & planting fruit trees & bushes is critical. Its manageable for a couple or small family & will feed them. Between climate change/draught and farm fields failing, its everyone's best bet. Bartering between neighbours to trade picked produce? Priceless 👍
