I've felt that way about Netanyahu since I knew about his miserable existence. I continue to consider him partially to blame for the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. So it's closer for me than Putin. My ancestors on my mom's side fled pogroms in Russia, but I don't expect other than Tsars there.
