We have these tunnels that go through the reservoir wall and turtles go up them thinking they are heading upstream so they require rescuing.

Turtles or tortises? I was taught that tortises walked on feet, while turtles swam on flippers. This appellation seems to be fading with the years . . .

The wee is way more powerful than the bite. Pro tip - when rescuing always lug the will be rescued at arm’s length.
