If only there was a cadre of reporters, we’ll call them the White House Press Corps, who he manages to get in front of almost every single day, who could push back on the lie.

An organization that pushes back risks losing their White House credentials.

I agree. However, push back equals no access. Hence, the media fails to inform the public of what a deranged, dangerous liar he is. Every. Single. Day.

It is $1.99 in several other countries and in Venezuela it’s only six cents a gallon

Are there any reporters in the WH Press Corps? It seems like they're all MAGA influencers.

It’s simple. Journalists will lose access if they push too hard. Just incredibly embarrassing that they won’t hold Trump to account.

$2.73 for regular at Costco. Pretty cheap. No need to lie.

oh you want the costco price? lol. i paid 3.15 for premium so i guess that makes regular about 50c less than that.

One has to assume members of the Whit House press corp drive themselves places and all bought gas within the last week or so. Even if they have a fancy driver (doubtful), the regularly drive past gas stations with gas prices posted. The lie is so obvious.

Maybe he’s thinking it sold by liters here. Or he was driving by a 711 and saw the price of a big gulp being advertised and he thought that was the brand of gas. I’m just as clueless since my husband fills the cars. But I know, by roadsigns that isn’t what we pay.
