I worry because the citizenry by and large does not have training in using firearms. People with firearms but no training in how to use them, regardless of which side they are on, ads to the chaos.

Well one issue there is local law enforcement tends to turn a blind eye to them, or are actively part of those militias.

Local law would love to stay out of these fights. But they take an oath as well to protect and serve. Mobilizing the Guard is the way to go. I’d feel safer in blue states. I’m behind enemy lines. Just need to stay smart and covert.
