80 hours?!?! That’s double time. 8+ year olds aren’t old enough to be left alone and a parent would be arrested for leaving any kid under 13. I thought they were all about family.

Oh, even better. The rule says 80 hours per MONTH.

From the USDA rule book concerning SNAP Work Requirement and Time Limit: You can meet the ABAWD work requirement by doing any one of these things: Work at least 80 hours a month. Work can be for pay, for goods or services (for something other than money), unpaid, or as a volunteer; Participate in a work program at least 80 hours a month. A work program could be SNAP Employment and Training or another federal, state, or local work program; Participate in a combination of work and work program hours for a total of at least 80 hours a month; Participate in workfare for the number of hours assigned to you each month (the number of hours will depend on the amount of your SNAP benefit.)

depravity. Federal min wage $7.25 per hour. While there are states & cities w/ an increased minimum wage. Say nationwide there’s an hrs work max to not receive FA. Set at avg 36 hrs per week. If Congress sets work requirement at 80, you are not receiving FA. work or starve. starve there is none.
