I was bored with Americans telling me I pay 50% income tax for healthcare in the UK, so I did some digging. USA Fed Govt pays $4,500 per head for healthcare, for that most Americans get almost nothing (£3500) The UK government pays £2800 per head for the NHS, and for that we get almost everything.
Yes. The US health care system is a joke. It costs the most and has the worst outcomes in the entire world. Rich people in the US die at higher rates than really poor people in Europe, and poor people in the US die at rates that are higher than many third-world countries in a state of constant war.

That these big bills are allowed to proceed is yet another flaw in our system. These should all be stand alone bills, instead of allowing poison pills to be inserted. Congress should be on record with their votes for each section of the bill. Instead they are able to hide behind "too big to fail".

There are quite a few adults on Medicaid who work full or part time. Their job just doesn't provide any health care at all, exposing a huge problem with the "employer-based" approach to health care in the US.

I’m so sorry but the then what is they don’t give a fuck. It’s not your country. We have universal healthcare, but will have a similar crisis, to keep us down. The system MUST fail! Only then will we be free.
