My GF had a stroke. She is mentally fine but now legally blind and cannot walk. I took two jobs (PCA and HHA) to stay home and give her the full time care she needs. I have DDD so we have another staff who gives me a break a few hours a day. We lose coverage and I lose my jobs. (Cont in comments)

I can’t leave her home alone to go to work so I’d be limited to work from home with the understanding I’d need to take a lot of small breaks to manage her care. In the meantime. Losing our home is a very real possibility. We have been planning to leave US for cheaper living if this happens.
