In 2020, my medical bills were over $800k. Cancer diagnosis, scans, chemo, radiation, surgery, numerous hospital visits. I would be bankrupt if I didn't have insurance. I had a very good paying job, and this still would have ruined me. You can't plan for this. F this administration.

My husband's open heart surgery cost $233,887.42 and that was just one of many surgeries he had. WE still owe the hospital thousands and can only pay small amounts at a time as he is 72 and we live on a limited Fixed SS income. I planted a garden to off set the lack of money for food.
