In contrast there was a stabbing at a Walmart and no one died. The guy was subdued by customers. Imagine if he had a gun.

Read the room, George. We want more of this against evil people, not less.
Because over there, they are a fashion accessory. A symbol of power. A statement of your ability to own something that can end life. If your society treasures that and sees it as normal and justified? You’re fucked. I say that as someone for whom weapons were a daily part of life for 24 years /1
Massive brains will be able to explain it but, here’s the thing. Over two decades with weapons. I’ve never once felt it should be part of my life in the real world. It didn’t make me the big man. It was a requirement that needed strict controls and training. It’s a privilege to carry. Not a right
A nice to have and need to have weapon is the same as a nice to have vs need to have handbag or that $1000 bike or that $300 bottle of wine off the menu. You don’t need it. But it feels good to have it. It’s affirmation. Status. A statement. Dress it up in an archaic rule regarding militia /2
We need idiot control! Not gun control! /s
Maybe you Americans need more guns? Today you have 1.2 guns per citizen. Maybe 10 guns each will solve the problem? 🤔
“My gun needs its own gun.”
Eric Adams has made New York a more violent, dangerous place.
Nothing can be done. Too many war weapons in the hands of men who want to murder
And why? Why was this guy, with a history of mental disturbances, able to procure firearms? Why was he mad at the NFL? Why won't our government stand up for our safety?
Without gun control, it will never stop.
Why? Because people who own guns freak at any mention of gun restrictions. Ask anyone to name an amendment and they’ll all answer the 2nd. Homeowners, hunters, don’t need automatic weapons, no uzi’s, no AK47’s, but they have them. The NRA makes sure they keep them.
Wow you're narrow minded. And you are just naming random guns 😂
According to the NYTIMES, we need to give up. Nothing can be done. Of course they don't consider a NATIONAL ban on assault weapons that worked once and COULD work again. You can't prevent every shooting but to say we have to live with one mass shooting every day is a horrific statement.
But this is American normal. The families affected wake up to a hell they’re never going to leave. For the majority of folks it’s another day of shopping.
Guy parked up in a major city got out of his car and casually strolled into a building while visibly carrying a machine gun. Just the fact that that part of the scenario doesnt scare the shit out of every politician in the US tells you how twisted their mind set is.
I mean, the same thing happened at a protest, and the reaction was to shoot at him. What’s the right answer, when we live in a country that reveres the right to bear GIANT arms BRAZENLY in a metropolitan area? 😬
When you have MAGAs going to a f*cking COFFEE SHOP armed to the teeth just for intimidation, why is it any surprise no one tried to say anything to the dude? Was he only considered a threat because he didn't look like my Uncle Elbert?
When Republicans and Democrats used to work cohesively in congress, they developed a safe gun act! see below. Where is it now?
This got more attention than a school shooting— because it hit Blackstone and NFL. $$ more important than kids
Or centirst democrats who are just gop lite & have helped the GOP do everything they want to do, while they cater to the people who will never vote for them.

One was a CEO of a multi-billion dollar Blackstone Group division that was buying up single family homes across the US and artificially raising prices So no loss there. In fact... I'd call that one a win The cop is just a wash Though it sucks for the other two. I feel bad for them
No war but class war.
Oh no, someone who ruins lives is dead. Eat the rich.
The cop was there to protect the sociopathic CEO so no loss there.
Please forgive us here GT. Do I feed my children or silently ignore reality. While I am personally at a loss to justify this; the fate of the many outweigh the fate of the few
America is facing a deep cultural crisis, and without a major cultural revolution, we’re heading toward disaster – time is running out.
Nope time as ran out - in another 3.5 just be a shithole country
Blackstone CEO killed. Blackstone Real Estate is responsible for buying up single family homes in order to artificially inflate the housing market. fortune.com/2025/07/29/w...
Note this article is published in Forbes because their readership is affected. Their primary audience are billionaires, CEOs and businessmen. But the mainstream narrative is focused elsewhere because the propaganda machine owned by those same businessmen Cannot Afford another Luigi!!!!
Makes sense. Without their money, billionaires are vulnerable sacks of soft flesh like us plebeians and as the old saying goes, "all are equal in death."
American’s standard answer to this is to have more guards armed with AR-15s. Because that’s your answer to everything.
A gun is just a tool. It can do nothing on its own. It is no more dangerous than a knife, a hammer, or a stick. What makes all of these tools dangerous is the inclination in the heart of the person wielding them. If the person’s inclinations are good, the tool will be used for good.
It is not normal…except in the US (sadly).
they are choosing silence, but it's because they are choosing to accept this as the colateral cost of having gun rights. and this is always easy for them when it doesn't affect them directly.
Until lawmakers are horrifically, personally affected, nothing will change.
Blackstone buys single family homes, driving housing inflation and rent prices up. Blackstone is also prt of Blackrock, a company that killed Iraqi civilians, got convicted and pardoned but Trump. It would be easy to keep writing for hours talking about how bad Blackrock and its companies are.
Wow,it’s almost as if mental healthcare is nonexistent in this country. I’m not going to mourn a Blackstone CEO. They are One of the big reasons no one can buy a house.
Every American is going to HAVE TO own a gun... eventually.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE NORMAL! Amazing! In 6 months of ICE on our streets, a man in a bulletproof vest with assault rifle can walk down NY's Park Ave & not be noticed. No One called 911 or stopped him This is tRumps Golden Age They are desensitizing the public to HIS atrocities WE NEED TO BE BETTER!
I've sadly yet to hear a solution which doesn't border on abolishment of the Second Amendment. "Reform" doesn't seem like enough and repealing an amendment seems like a bridge way too far.
More thoughts and prayers
I have already seen Fox refer to this as "blue city violence" Scumbags.
Because pretty soon it’s going to be either you or red or you get nothing. You become an enemy of the country
trying to avoid reporting that he went to the 33rd floor so he could kill the blackstone real estate CEO? i think that is exactly what they are doing because they don't want the public to get the idea that like luigi, these abusive people who victimize the public with their power are just people
What I don’t understand is how a guy walked on Park Avenue with an assault weapon in broad daylight and no one stops him???? NYC is not open carry???
Everyone probably thought he was ICE and just shrugged. After all, it doesn’t matter if it had been immigrants and foreigners he’d been targeting - this is what “the land of the free” is all about. Millions of you voted for it.
Not me I got one noted for the smart articulate woman… sadly we are here
Sadly this'll keep happening for as long as gun control is as strong as building a wall with bath sponges...
Skip the praying.
you would think the police unions would be more vocal about gun control. if they went on strike it would be effective
I wonder how many are on the side of guns?
privately they may be more honest. not many id say
One of the first rings of gun control is preventing domestic abusers from accessing firearms. The police aren't about to disarm themselves
Until mental health care is prioritized this will keep happening.
Maybe you should sort out the easy access to guns?
Definitely, but being mentally ill he might just drive his car into a crowd, use a machete, etc. The illness is the root problem.
Sorry, but with another CEO down...
Oh no, another CEO is dead. Another rich bitch ruining the country is gone. Oh no will somebody think about all the single family homes she bought for blackstone. Rest in piss and fuck the rich community.
But George, it’s not the guns! 🙄 Take the guns away and the problem goes away. Fact. Period. Done.
7/26/25. Traverse City MI. 11 people stabbed at a Walmart. Same crazy different tool
Yep, and here in the US we don't hear about the "machete massacres" that happen in Asia where 1-2 people go on a hacking spree in a busy market and maim over a thousand people, killing over a hundred.
Excuses for parents are stealing lives & destroying this future traditionally as has been persistently committed & taught in this country for apparently centuries, to the point that getting randomly shot dead seems too appealing an alternative to far too many of us...
We certainly cannot trust the federal nor state governments to protect us in any case of us not being armed. Hell, we all need to be armed with guns & lawyers, & then people might be more reluctant to get a gun & target mostly unarmed people if they are more liable to get shot for it, themselves.
Walking around without a gun or at least some weapon in this country should not be normal: it is not safe with most of us being unarmed except those who would commit violent crimes against us, including masses of corrupt government employees & public officials. We need inspectors general.
People obviously are not going to keep themselves honest in an unarmed population wherein courts routinely violate people's rights & lawyers don't even try to stop them, since we ultimately do not have real rights in this country but merely some have privileges as many have simply yet to discover...
He killed a CEO so I’m not going to cry about it.
call it What it truly is… Mass murder. Shooting, mass shooting… Does not accurately describe the events… it is mass murder. And if we start calling it that because mass murder is so horrific, we might be able to make a change. Like from anti-abortion to pro life.
The us gov. keeps blaming gun violence on the people alone and not the systems in place to push people to commit violent crimes along with the readiness to give people firearms things aren’t going to change. We need gun control or things aren’t going to get better, more communities will be hurt.
More guns than people and the lack of will on the R side to implement gun laws that will save people lives. 253 mass shootings so far this year and there has only been 210 days. I don't know how anyone can live like this.
The last mass shooting in the UK was long enough ago that I can’t remember it. More LEOs are shot dead in the US every two years than have been shot dead in the UK in the last 125 years, and almost all our LEOs are unarmed.
We had a horrible on in 2020 but I had to actually look it up because I couldn't remember. No other country has this problem. I've been to the UK many, many times and it is not something you ever have to worry about. It is good to live in countries that have sane gun laws.
As a Community First Responder I’ve knocked on more than 1000 doors, and never once feared I might get shot.
No why would you right? It's just like here it is something that is so alien to me. I never think of guns or something that I have to worry about. I could never imagine living in a country with so many guns.
"I've never wished a man dead, but there are some obituaries I have read with great pleasure."
Looking at the statistics, this is actually a pretty normal thing in the States. The reason is that politicians are doing absolutely nothing to prevent it from happening over and over. The gun industry is simply worth more than any number of victims.
get progressives elected if you want to stop this. The gun lobby owns too much of Congress.
If nothing changed after Sandy Hook it is never going to change.
The people in control DO NOT CARE! 🤬
JFC! Doesn't gun control sound good?? Another debate and another round of NO's from #GOP!
I wonder if Americas will EVER be able to live without the threat of gun violence?
It's tough for the MAGAts/A2'rs. The guy was apparently crazy, but he was also black. What to do, what to do.
Not a damn thing will change as long as the NRA owns congress
I'm certainly no fan of guns, but I am a big fan of fewer CEOs who make a handsome living from the enmisery of everyday people. I am also, as a Canadian, a very big proponent of strong, common sense gun control. Though that does keep our CEOs living rather longer than American ones lately.
Reno, Nevada also had a shooting in the morning. Three people dead and multiple injured. This dropped off the radar.
They're shooting the wrong individual. I have some oranges for target practice
Not sure if you didn't see who got shot, but this is basically a second Luigi
Framing this as guns instead of violence directs people to neglect solutions and focus on guns. Raise wages, build community, focus on fellowship, and people will be stunned how many of our problems will melt away
Guns kill people. That’s it.
It was the CEO of blackrock and the off duty cop was working security for them. Go look up blackrock and what they do.
Oh hey look, another instance of a the mythical "good guy with a gun" not materializing to save the day. Crazy how this keeps happening despite our pedo-supporting politician's insistence that more guns is the solution.
Wait, he wasn’t an immigrant?
Nope, born and raised in the US
That was tongue-in-cheek….
Knowing this current administration, they're probably encouraging gun violence and mass shootings. They want chaos.
The political agenda has to be focused on the real problem, mental health. Until then, we'll only see more shooters, more death.
Let’s blame gun violence on mental health. 🤦♂️ Other countries have poor mental health services and yet don’t have mass shootings BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE EASY ACCESS TO GUNS! Maybe the victims are the problem? Make being shot a crime and less people will be shot by guns. Or maybe get rid of people?
It sounds like you must be an expert. I'm definitely not. I do know how it feels to need help. I also know how it feels to get help.
Prayers and thoughts always work for future victims!😐
The way our society quickly ignores how bad gun violence is in this country is echoed in the blind eye it turns towards trans rights, immigrants disappearing, and how none of the overtly illegal actions of the administration have resulted in any repercussions.
What can anyone do but complain about it on social media, though? Serious question. Who enforces the laws? The executive branch. Look who's running that clown show.
George, read your post’s responses and ponder on the wickedness you attract.
Take the guns, but mentally ill still going to kill. 7/26/25 Traverse City MI. 11 people stabbed by a man with a folding knife.
Ban assault rifles.
blackstone corporate pirates are barely a community. epstein list members though
I assume you post some big time sad face shit like this every time a cop kills someone to feel tough and cool, right? And every time a CEO kills another hundred people to make the lone go up? Like you care as much about their victims as you care about them, right?
It’s what we do better than any one
