That tracks.
That tracks.
💪🤬
I wonder whether his Instagram has always been private. Hmm.
Fire employees for bigger profits. AI could replace CEOS
If they remove human labour, tax them at 99% and use it to feed the rest of us.
Love ya, George! Would be great to see you sharing more stuff about universal basic income. We need to get UBI going ASAP.
UBI is true freedom It makes work by choice Which allows our markets to Properly value our Labor! Work or Starve is forced Labor
For the CEOs who are purely money-driven, it tracks. But for those, and their 2 or 3 tiers of upper management, who are driven by power-seeking, this solution is likely to be unsatisfactory. For companies not embracing AI, look at their culture. Are they benign or autocratic?
I look forward to the coming of AI CEOs, when we can finally do away with the bloated paychecks of useless upper management. That'll happen, right? Efficiency!
Objectively speaking, the C-suite performs all their tasks based on spreadsheets and data input and makes decisions based on that, so they're far more suited for AI replacement than any of the employed worker drones who have to use creativity, human insight and empathy to do their job.
By ending employment, they end their customer base. Not smart, amirite?
The average MBA holder is incapable of thinking about the larger market implications of their actions. They want cost numbers to go down and margins to go up, but what happens when they hold all the money? They're like dogs chasing cars.
The person who dies with the most DOGE coin wins.
Exactly my thoughts
Haha People have no money ergo advertising defunct Shops defunct Everything defunct
Hmm, what is the basic idea of capitalism again...? Oh right, money to go around, like blood in a body. Adam Smith compared ultra-rich people to a bloodclot that needs the hands of a surgeon. I honestly don't know what they think. Do they think this time the Ottoman Empire won't collapse?
Excited until they find out true AI will be replacing all the CEOs also!
The billionaires will use AI to make themselves richer and the rest of us poorer, as always. And the politicians will help them do it, as always.
Two auto executives are touring a new factory. They stop at a part of the line that is made up entirely of robots that can crank out hundreds of vehicles a day with little oversight. "I'd like to see these guys form a union" one of them says. "I'd like to see you sell them a car" says the other.
This should surprise no one. Insane how willing some people are to help feed this machine.
This can only work if they institute a universal basic income.
Replace a ceo and save a TON of money!
They might not be paying attention. The latest buzz is, AI agents will be replacing top level management too.
Mfw I literally just spent twenty minutes and three phone calls trying desperately to get past an AI agent to a human being who could actually solve my problem (which they did) There is nothing that infuriates me more than being forced to use an agent which gets things wrong and hangs up
We already know: A non-paid workforce that churns out mediocre quality that will be consumed regardless means insane profits. Problem is we ain't gonna have any money to buy it and though i do not look forward to the depression, I do look forward to seeing these COs get screwed by their hubris
Any CEO who is _excited_ to lay off human workers in order to replace them with AI can, quite frankly, fuck off and die as soon as humanly possible. Nothing of value will have been lost and the world will be a genuinely better place without these greedy assholes.
“It doesn’t ask for a pay raise” is a BONKERS claim that requires businesses to believe that AI companies will notice everyone exclusively using their product and decide “you know what, no, I WON’T raise the price of my product to reflect its value in the marketplace”
Once the CEO's become addicted to their AI "bonus" the AI companies will raise their prices. AI junkies will pay whatever the AI company demands. Will we see an AI cartel perhaps? Price collusion to keep the money flowing and server farms powered up?
It is, like always, a very temporary gain. AI screws up. A lot. It will take people to fix things, and they will cost more money than was once "saved". But tech-bros invented AI, and now they push it on everybody to validate the time they took to invent that instead of something actually useful.
Inhuman birds of a feather?
Well, no employees means they will reduce their prices significantly, won't they? Oh, wait, no, they won't put prices down, they'll put them up in fact, and people will stop using their services and they'll go out of business... 🤦♂️
How long until we as share holders can vote out CEO's and replace them with AI? That would be a HUGE cost reduction.
Basically, Data Centers needed for AI cost the PUBLIC money, not the corporations that use them. And since AI is replacing employees, they save money that way, too, in salary & perks like health insurance. Not to mention, computers don't whine for company cars and parental leave.
They forget that people need money to buy their products, and they will not have it if they are unemployed
I’ve been asking this since the Subscription Based Business Model hit back in the early 2010’s. What is the end goal?? Nickel and dime the working class to the point where the economy no longer functions? Then money becomes worthless. We go back to barter and trade? I don’t understand.
I literally ask this regularly. I still haven't found the answer
To remove the threat to their power, if an educated and organised working class
When this AI shit is done, there’ll be 27 jobs for every 375,000,000 people.
Highly doubt it. There will be a reduction in workforce initially (which is going on now) but once companies realize that the robots can't do really anything useful, they will scramble to hire a bunch of ""new"positions that will basically be worse versions of the previous roles.
Hope you’re right. www.forbes.com/sites/jackke... Goldman Sachs Predicts 300 Million Jobs Will Be Lost Or Degraded By Artificial Intelligence
Well ""degraded"" seems to be a fun euphemism for "scramble to hire a bunch of ""new"positions that will basically be worse versions of the previous roles"
These CEOs are some of the most lazy, short-sighted executives around. If you lay off that many people, there will be no reason to have your own company as no one has $$ to buy anything from you. And people will rebel against these bots. They are not infallible.
AI doesn't repair car engines, mow the lawn, build homes, or clean the house.
Quick, someone tell the shareholders how they can maximize profits and slash costs by replacing overpaid CEO's with AI. AI doesn't need to be paid millions of dollars, or have brand damaging sex scandals.
Could it be that they will become even richer and more awful ?
AI is a jobs killer and not an improvement on humans in those rolls.
I wish we lived in a world where people had their needs met, then we could celebrate people not having to do this jobs instead of fearing losing income. #UBI
Anyone who has been in this space in the last 5 years has known this. We as a nation just don’t ever stand up against employers because we continue to vote en masse for companies having the right to run our lives (hence: right to work states across the nation).
SYAC: CEOs are openly discussing how AI will replace human roles in fields like customer service, data entry, transportation, logistics, and beyond.
UBI will be a necessity.
Humans annoy them, basically.
All I really see is "...and by the time people finally figure it out, we'll have made our billions and disappeared!"
If all companies replace their employees with AI, where will they find the customers who can afford their products? AI customers?
Reading these CEOs comments and yeah, yeah, the Cylons were right...
I can be AI - Look i’m typing in a unique way that will make a CEO have a small ejaculation. If you’d like, I can also throw in a few untrue “facts” or use easier vocabulary that CEOs will understand.
Of course. A very few will get ridiculously rich or richer. Thats all.
To be fair, Star Trek was founded on the ideal of a world where people didn't *need* to work, but instead *chose* to work I see this as a step toward that freedom This AI is clearly incompatable with our current economic model, but that model should eventually be changed too I see this as a win
If machines take over majority of jobs, then we will require Universal Basic Income. Otherwise we will likely have universal French revolutions with guillotines.
Why does she look like Jennifer Connelly?
Hallucinations. It's all about hallucinations in this administration.
