After the election, it became evident that many people didn't really understand what a tariff is. It wasn't enough to be told it was an "inflationary" tax, people needed to see the math.

It probably would be good for the media to do a brush-up as the tariffs hit harder and for those on tv, please, show the math. I saw so many people doing mental arithmetic on tv, where it's really clear in the visual. The brush-up would be especially helpful now as more tariffs take effect.
