You claim “full confidence,” but the reality is simple: the American people and the employees of the CDC have zero confidence in you.

You have twisted science into politics. You have undermined credibility with double-talk and half-truths. You have left the CDC’s reputation battered while expecting those who serve within it to carry the burden of your failures. This is not leadership, it is sabotage.

We are losing all the great minds in various fields bc many are leaving and going abroad. So much for the US as a leader of anything. Disgusting.

I'm not an expert, but having received some training in public health, I'm pretty good for a layman. I've been part of many public health campaigns in underserved areas, and the regimes' public health policies make me want to scream daily I couldn't imagine being an expert in the current hellscape.

Come to Canada. Medical professionals get fast tracked.

Unfortunately, our public health sector has an extensive information sharing agreement with... the CDC. We depend on them for a lot of information, because that's where a ton of the research is (was) carried out, and vice versa, with a lot coming out of U of T, McMaster. U Vic, etc...

...so while the primary effects of these hideous policies impact the United States, the downstream effects of slashing research and gutting the CDC will ultimately affect Canada and Europe until we can pivot away from reliance on the US. Thankfully, that's already begun with CETA.
