Yeah we are patrolling where there are no criminals. Neighborhoods are where the crime is. Nobody has thought about this? What are the other troops going to do? Nothing like these guys? Let them go back to their lives. This is not what they signed up for. They signed up to help people in emergencies

The National Guard should be in their own communities, gearing up for the storms that are about to hit. They left their families behind to fend for themselves and its absolute b.s. that Trump and the GOP are ok with it. If any of those guards lose family or property, they need to sue Trump.

I associate National Guard deployments with natural disasters and the occasional overseas tour; I doubt that the Guard deploying in WDC will do any good. It’s just another Trump attempt to keep the public distracted and from demanding the release of the Epstein files.

To protect those who are weaker, who cannot defend themselves; to rescue those injured or in danger, is what you signed up for — not to be intimidating or harmful. Refuse illegal orders!
