A few years back, I was on a train when a drunk racist called out, lets count the Australians on the train. I went up to him and said, I think you counted me, he nodded. I then pointed out I was a Kiwi, so skin colour is not a judge of being Australian. This was also 1 stop before I got off.

I'm a white Pommie, been here 48 years. Only a few years in I had a financial disagreement with an Armenian mechanic. He told me to go back to where I came from 😁 That perhaps surprisingly endeared me to multicultural Australia. We are all equal.
