A friend has a peach tree or two in her yard. They're not prolific producers this far north, but I think it's neat they can semi-thrive here. Plenty of Macoun apples, my favorite fruit, in about a month, I hope - if the summer's drought didn't stunt their growth.
Macoun’s :) I am a softie for fruit.
My plant science prof told the class I was in way back in 1983 that they were better than Macintoshes, and he was right. They store better, too. Hadn't heard of them until then and haven't looked back since I tried one.
