Took a trip out to Wolverhamption today to look at and give an interview for 'Come As You Really Are', a collection of peoples hobbies and collections that I'm included in. It was really fun, and so much warmer than your standard art show. You could feel the love that people have for thier hobbies.

And yeah, the prints that I sell were included and it was strangely emotional to see them on the wall in a gallery. Like validating and a little bit silly? Faintly ridiculous.

But that was why I'd been asked to go and have a little chat about things. It was hard to articulate just what this hobby meant to me, and why I was making it. I hope I didn't sound TOO silly. If you find yourself near Wolverhampton Art Gallery, please do go have a look. It deserves to be seen.

And now I'll be able to sell these prints as legitimate 'as shown in an actual gallery' art, which is pretty wild. Don't worry, I won't mark up the prices too much...

Advertising banner for Come As You Really Are, curated by Hetain Patel, currently showing in Wolverhampton Four of my prints on a wall, surrounded by other peoples creative work Another two prints on a wall, with more creative gubbins about. And the last four prints, thematically grouped with some 2007 movie toys that were not mine.
