Thank you for using the defcon scale correctly. I often hear talking heads use ‘five’ as the worst. When in fact it is the best. I don’t remember a time when this country was at 5.

Ah yes. At Reagan’s time I had recently left the Navy, was starting my career, and dating a lot. Was not paying much attention to politics or world affairs. Simpler Times! 😐
