England had a lot of great cheeses I’d love to see in California. The Little Hitler Miller would probably ban them or have yamtits (if still available) sign his EO for it.

The Stilton is great but a bit runny.

Never tried it. I liked the Cheshire cheese and a cheddar, IIRC. It’s been a long time since I’ve had good sharp cheese like that.

Edam cheese I love. And among English cheeses, the world famous Cheddar, of course. Though there are literarily dozens of great cheeses on that island.

Only lived there for a few months in Sheffield. The big market in the city had huge cheese vendors, I’ve never seen anything like it.

Next to Switzerland, England is the Mother of all Cheese. But cheese was actually invented in Poland during the Mesolithic.🧀

I’m partial to French cheeses, but many lands produce good items.

Which reminds me. I have to try some Polish cheese ASAP. I’ll tell you how it is, unless you try some first.

I doubt I’ll find it without an exploratory visit to some high end markets. That opportunity is a ways off given current activities at our place. Getting ready for winter now, they’re getting more wintry.

Try Paxton & Whitfield in London. They have Polish cheeses.

The Chinese do have cheeses, but only Mongolian people can actually digest it.
