England had a lot of great cheeses I’d love to see in California. The Little Hitler Miller would probably ban them or have yamtits (if still available) sign his EO for it.

yam tits isn’t civilized enough to know what quality cheese tastes like 😂
The Stilton is great but a bit runny.
Never tried it. I liked the Cheshire cheese and a cheddar, IIRC. It’s been a long time since I’ve had good sharp cheese like that.
Edam cheese I love. And among English cheeses, the world famous Cheddar, of course. Though there are literarily dozens of great cheeses on that island.
Only lived there for a few months in Sheffield. The big market in the city had huge cheese vendors, I’ve never seen anything like it.

I doubt I’ll find it without an exploratory visit to some high end markets. That opportunity is a ways off given current activities at our place. Getting ready for winter now, they’re getting more wintry.
Try Paxton & Whitfield in London. They have Polish cheeses.
it’s the thing i miss when i travel to asian countries.
The Chinese do have cheeses, but only Mongolian people can actually digest it.
Cheese is one of the great inspirations of my life, especially Emmentaler.🧀
