Annoying that you have to own the expansion on both consoles in order to utilize cross progression…. I bought the Switch 2 version thinking I’d be able to cross with my PS5 but since I don’t have the expansion it’s completely useless — so it’s a giant up-charge to be able to do this

I have a PS4 save that can be used on the Switch 2 version, but yeah, I thought it was already well known that a save from either the PS4/version without the expansion installed is a one-way trip.

Might be well known, wasn’t to me… I shelved the game shortly after launch and thought this would be a good time to jump back in, thinking cross save would bolster the value of rebuying an old game for full price

Sorry, man. Maybe you can snag the expansion for PS5 when it goes on sale if you rather not pay the full price for it. I know there's another free update to 2.3 this week, but no word on what it will include.

Yep, was thinking about trying to get it on sale, but who knows if I’ll still be playing/into the game at that point…. I’m not about to drop $100+ on the game to play it with cross progression…. it’s just kind of a hidden cost imo
