Sorry but there is a legal reason for that limitation. And it isn't network channels, it is *broadcast* network stations.

I don't believe in the "do something" fallacy[*]. And neither should you. If someone has bad ideas they damn well shoud be knocked down. Vigorously. With no need or obligation to "offer a solution". ([*] "Something needs to be done!" "This is something." "Do it!")
