The Hill was NEVER serious or thoughtful about the threat. News organizations, in general, were the greatest failure and disappointment in this fascist takeover of the United States. And most are still covering themselves now with shame.

I blame them for a lot of the reason so many Americans are still in the dark. If it was a part of normal mainstream discourse to be calling this for what it is, authoritarianism and fascism, it would make its way even to ppl who don’t pay much attention. It’s disgusting how they are allowing this.

Until may be three years ago The Hill was rather moderate. I remember MAGA people would accuse it of being too liberal.
