What a great idea - playpens! πΈ
Here are Jolene & Simon when they were in their playpens to accumulate
So spacious! Takes care of all their needs. Youβre such a great mom. π₯°π±π±
Thank you. That is very kind. (Mostly I was worried about them being scared & hiding in the temp housing where I couldnβt find or get them back in carriers, so I wanted them contained first until they calmed down.)
Simon wants to cuddle, I think. It is nice to see them!
He did. He wasnβt in there long. Simon sleeps in the bed right next to me every single night.
Nice! How are Jolene and Flower doing?
Everyone is doing well in temp safe housing.
I do not really drink alchohol anymore. Does not appeal. But Scova Notia has some fab alchohol free gin! So I am celebrating and toasting you and your successes (note plural!) with first gin and tonic of the summer! Cheers! Good health and happiness! And you did escape the devil before he got you!
Letβs hope so
Brilliant! I wonder if she is so fearful because she was never very far away from the hell next door. Might calm down when you are all settled.
Good kitty girl, Flower!πΊ π»
Congratulations! You did it! Youβre a wonderful cat person!
oh goodness i had to catch up - so happy you're safeβ€οΈ
Flower is lucky to have you πΈ Look forward to seeing her and all of you blossom further once in permanent safe space β€οΈ
This is like a little house without a house of her own.
(sorry, I meant "within" not "without")
And now she even goes close to you! You have made such wonderful progress with her through your patience and love.π
Thank you. I truly think the new house will be better for all of us. We will all be on the same floor, so Flower wonβt just be upstairs anymore. In the temp housing, she sleeps in a cat bed next to mine (this bed is high). She may be able to get in the bed in new house once itβs back to my bed.
I love this so much. Happy tears. She's gorgeous.
Yayyy
She's safe π€π€π€ and so are you π»πΎβ€οΈ
Flower looks quite content.
She looks remarkably chilled and quite at home in there. This looks like a huge breakthrough π»ππ»ππββ¬πββ¬
Flower is how I came across your posts :) so all the goodness you've shown Flower is the good you deserve back
Thank you so much. Yes, Iβm so glad I got her out. She wonβt need to look at them out the window anymore either.
It will take them a few days to explore the new surroundings. I moved twice in 6 months and my 2 had great fun exploring.
She looks very content and safe.
She will need to rub herself on everything once we get to the new house. π€£ (Flower loves rubbing herself on things to mark her area.)
Well of course... The new house has all the wrong smells! Really, she's doing you a solid by fixing that.
A very important cat job to make sure a house is a proper home.
