The media seems hard-pressed to find politicians who will provide the counternarrative. They seem to be turning, primarily, to activists and others in the community. Davey and other LD MPs have a chance here if they make it very clear to media outlets that they are available.

Ed Davey had a meeting with the BBC about this 2 weeks ago, they have been making themselves available but the media are selective on who they pick.
