I do not want my Social Security privatized unless I control where it is invested. If that is the case, then I want all the money I put in over the years plus interest. Trump is trying to steal our money. Social Security works as is. The wealthy just need to pay their fair share.

Not 100% accurate that it will replace SS. I think the better angle is how scammy these trump accounts are... 1. The "trump" accounts are only for babies born during trumps 3 years in office from 2026-2028. 2. They give a one time $1000 per baby. Cool, but Harris was offering $5000 tax credit/yr.

A really good idea would be $1000/yr/child supplement into these accounts paid by gov for 0-17 year olds and have that means tested where incomes above $150k or so do not apply. Mainly low income folks.

3. They do allow parents to put $5000 per year. This only really helps those living comfortably now. 4. 401ks with tax relief for parents at birth for babies is not a bad idea. But you give up the game that this is a scam it only allowed for 3 years.
