Well, it often does takes considerable amount of time to get around to the subject at hand, but she does shed light on crucial but otherwise buried stories and I appreciate that. Despite the guessing game with her initial monologue.

B/c no one really cares what talking heads and Fred Savage in girl form have to say. People want authenticity, some shred of journalistic integrity. Networks stripped themselves of it and are nothing more than propaganda & advertisement machines. It's so disingenuous that people have disconnected

If Maddow drops to one day per week she should be paid accordingly. Maybe free up some cash for those panel type discussions mentioned in the article. The Fair and Balanced Propaganda Channel needs counter programming but, definitely fact based not the putrid pabulum coming out of Fox.

Her contract states 1 day per week & she is returning to that schedule May 1. As the article states, she also does podcasts & documentaries for the network. MSNBC pays her what she’s worth to them. She single-handedly brought their ratings back up during the 100 days.

There’s a limited ability for liberals to pull centrists increasingly as some of their positions and preferences are untenable for many. Trump is beyond descriptively bad, but that doesn’t mean left is default go to as it may have once been. Liberal cultural preferences r just a turnoff overall
