The GOP is unAmerican. Project 2025 is at the heart of all this nonsense. Some rural areas can only get Public Broadcasting since the internet there is too expensive to bring in, and I know of a disabled person that lives in the mountains because it helps with her medical issues (fibromyalgia).

That is not true. It has been well-documentsed that our calls do help. Saying that that calls make it worse is a logical error. A correlation does not mean causation. I know calling is boring to do every day, but what is the problem with taking 5 minutes to do it anyway?

As an outsider looking in; Public Broadcasting is essential in a Country such as the US, where there is no obligations on broadcasters to present both sides of any argument. There needs to an ‘impartial’ source of information to compare and contrast.
