I wonder what Mamdani would do about the 36k H1b workers imported to NY annually so corporations don't have to follow labor laws. Will he give them labor rights or just advocate for the right of corporations to import more foreign workers? No one can build shelters that fast.

Trump isnt my boy. City ordinances can & do get passed. If Mamdani really cares about immigrants he will pass an ordinance that all employees in the city are protected by the same labor rights regardless of citizenship & call out corporate exploitation of migrant workers.

Again. The number of h1b visas are set by Congress. That is a FEDERAL law. And again, any lawsuit against a corporation would be in FEDERAL court, since employment visas are enforced by the FEDERAL government. A mayor has NO jurisdiction over employment visa laws in the United States.
