NO. Don't do it. Katie Porter is soooo much better for us people. Padilla is too passive. He became 'famous' when he was thrown to the floor by Noem's goons, and we appreciate his bravery. But no. Katie Porter is a real scrapper with a superb education and incredible articulateness.

I don't think Padilla will run against Xavier Becerra. Becerra took on the first Trump admin while he was Attorney General, and has the distinction of winning all his cases against them. I like Katie Porter, but I think Becerra will beat her.

While I think he would be a good governor, I don’t think he’s the right person for this moment in time. He lacks the attack dog personality that California voters are looking for. His demeanor is too sedate, too measured, to effectively fight republicans and Trump.
