Interesting. One of my grandfathers was Irish, but my other 3 grandparents were Indigenous. Although my g-grandma used to fake an English accent when she answered the phone… maybe she faked other English things, too. 🤷🏻♀️

The McCartneys had Irish ancestry. Paul's brother was Peter Michael (known as Mike) and their father was also James (known as Jim). So the son had the father's name formally, but not around the house.
