I’m sure you’ve benefited more from a Democratic policy than a Republican policy.. Independents don’t have policies, they just get in the way..

Get in the way of what? Independent voter numbers wouldn't have swung the last election, and I'm sure you know that. The only thing they seen to get in the way of is democrats actually fighting Republicans since Dems spend so much time and energy going after 3rd party candidates.
