No. Maybe this is my privilege talking, but I don't think there are lots of jobs where people get fired and blackballed forever for a hit and run.

Well I unfortunately am aware of several employers, especially in the public sector, that would fire someone for this type of behavior because it reflects so poorly on who the employer trusts etc
Fair enough, but it's harsh. We live in an overly punitive society. We incarcerate a higher percentage of our citizens than any other country on earth. We are terrible at rehabilitation. I just don't have it in me to destroy the lives of idiot 23 yo's that didn't cause great harm.
I absolutely agree with you. Just wish your average citizen was afforded the same privileges athletes like Rice are when they get in trouble
I agree. I just don't think the answer to the overall problem is to start punishing everyone more. We need to move the other way.
I don’t disagree with that point at all
Well, at least we found some common ground.
If only we held Law Enforcement to the same standards we hold Professional Athletes to. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I would if I could!
I know you would and Its not an attack on anyone beyond the current DOJ regime. Just seeing that this athlete is gettingmore time than the cops that killed Brianna Taylor
It’s disgraceful. Our justice system is so broken it makes me sick
