We're not talking about them. We're talking about the people WE elected the past 40 or 50 years while people like Lee Atwater pieced our demise together. We've only known it was coming for decades. Like to see accountability without finger pointing the other side. They've been a known quantity.

Fair. And I will very much concede that it’s rare to see Dem candidates who are anything other than “meet the new boss, same as the old boss” We as half the nation have fallen into the trap of electing “comfortable” politicians as opposed to effective ones.

Like, we had to raise hell at our reps to stop some of them from voting to confirm MAGA nominees this year. Like, wtf? Who tf have we been voting for?

We definitely need more grass roots, regular candidates. Problem is that’s an uphill battle because either the $$ isn’t there or they get seduced to the dark side by a sudden influx of corporate $$.

The left is creating the $$ and support part of that uphill battle for themselves. And, it makes me want to scream to see Dems in key positions who just want the bleeding to stop enough for them to go back to business as usual. Very few voices like AOC out there. Way too many no matter who's.
