Not sure I agree. Yes they are afraid of high U.S. debt. But the dollar isn't going away anytime soon. Yes BRICS & others are reducing U.S. debt. 1 theory is they are setting up trade outside of the dollar using gold held in banks around the world. The physical gold never moves, just shares of it

You can’t just join BRICS. You need to apply and be vetted to be accepted and it’s not a guarantee that you will. Much easier to get a BRICS partnership like many countries do.
