We don’t send them money for weapons. We send them the weapons killing children. We send them money to build illegal settlements. We send them money for socialized medicine while we go into medical bankruptcy. We send them money to bulldoze Palestinian homes.
The start to an embargo would’ve been this bill. No one is looking at the bigger picture. They’re all playing petty politics. Palestinians don’t have time for this, they’re dying of starvation/disease/bombing. We need action not words.

okay, so you agree now that it wasn't an embargo. that's progress. it was not some sort of precursor to an embargo either. Greene's amendment was voted down 6-422. It was a gesture; there is no universe in which it was going to pass. 100% words, zero actions. So idk why you're so enamoured with it.
