I liked "The Orville" on the first couple watches. I was rewatching (3? 4?) "The Orville" and it suddenly seemed hollow. A cookie cutter copy, but even cookies have some depth. The world isn't believable, you don't think it goes on past the edges of the tv.
I'm sorry it is not as enjoyable on rewatch for you. I have no problem with people liking it. I just found it problematic when people would say it is "real Star Trek" & that the Star Trek show led by a Black woman is not.
Absolutely agree. Just you watch, there's gonna be a fresh rallying cry to get "The Orville" going again as the "non woke trek."
