My daughter was just let go at Turpaugh Health and Wellness in Strasburg, Pa., and Mechanicsburg, Pa., because she isn't bubbly enough and does not fit their idea of how their office is supposed to "look". They overcharge for labs and push unproven supplements at an exorbitant cost. No stars.
Sorry to hear that, and best of luck to your daughter in her job search. Unfortunately, we have a health care industry that is completely undeserving of most of the people who actually want to help others.
She is a licensed phlebotomist and already has another offer. My issue is the blatant abuse of women in the workplace who aren't thin, and what they want regarding optics in a workplace. It pisses me off.
