Democrats had months to call for ceasefire when they where in in power, and instead they decided to crack down on pro Palestine protests. They told they base over and over again they didn't need not want there vote, and surprise surprise, they didn't get it.

She called for a ceasefire but took no steps as candidate running for office to explain how she would do it. Surely she could've committed a halt of weapon sales like many of her colleagues in Congress suggest if she didn't have any ideas.
