Marketing is going to be about $150M. So total cost is $350M. The Theatre will take around 50% of revenue, so of the $500M, only $250M gets back to Disney. So they've made a loss of around $100M on it.

Disney have reported the production cost as $200M, we know from box office figures published that its taken $500M global. Marketing is an estimate, but its in the region of 50 - 100% of production for a tentpole like this towards the top end. So where am I wrong?

Whoa, it's an estimate based on previous tentpole movies so it's in the ballpark. So unless you know something else, it not unreasonable to go with that. $100m loss seems about right, it might even be greater.
