All I know is that my partner is a plastic surgeon and she says no way his ear cartilage “grew back” like that if it got hit.

I hurt the top of my ear 3 years ago. 3 years! Small but horrible. I can't sleep comfortably on my left side because it's so painful. It still looks like an injury, too. The first time I saw him without a bandage, I started really questioning whether that could have really happened.

If you can afford it go see a plastic surgeon. Not the kind that does elective stuff the kind that works on facial deformities, injuries etc. they can help you.

I'm going to have to see one after i resolve some jaw issues I'm having. I'll definitely mention it while I'm there. Thank you!

It just barely scraped his ear

They can’t even keep that story straight. Annual med check says there’s a scar. Sometimes Drumph claims the cartilage “grew back.” THEY ARE SUCH TOOLS

A high speed bullet would have caused a major injury to the ear.

TJ @talsup.bsky.social

If I think about the physics of it, the odds of it nicking his ear aren’t that great. And the energy from the bullet should have done more damage.

I agree. I can’t see how a bullet could have hit the ear and not hit the head.

A military sharpshooter said that bullet shot from that weapon, coming that close to his head would have taken his ear completely off, if not the side of his head! It never happened. Furthermore, they sacrificed that foolish boy for a bump in polling. Psychopaths!

Any other supposed assassination attempt would have been thoroughly investigated, attending physicians would have been in front of a senate committee, and the media would have been all over it. This disappeared faster than the families of the people who actually were killed.

How about we start with the beginning and how "the assassin" got so easily into the perfect position, 148 yards from its "target", on an open rooftop without anybody noticing him, including the trained teams of sharpshooters surrounding that very building?? Only that would tick you off!

I think the SS has screwed up so much in the last 5 years that it is easy to believe they were incompetent at the scene. Both letting that shooter get into position, and not getting Trump away from the scene immediately. That said, it looked so posed it’s hard to believe it was an actual attempt.

I question the credentials of whoever said that, because the truth is it is perfectly plausible that a bullet grazing an ear does very little permanent damage. Ears just don't have enough mass to get the round to effectively dump its energy; it's like punching a hole in paper.

Cartridge barely has any blood supply and doesn’t grow back but sure you know more that a person who did 8 years of school and a 6 year residency. Hell I know that just from wrestling and jiu jitsu

Ears do have lots of small blood vessels so they bleed a lot; but as for the permanent wound it could look like anything from a small hole (if it passed completely through) to hardly anything at all if it barely nicked it.

Trump and his doctor claimed it took part of his ear off. That doesn’t grow back.

Nate Chapin @natechapin.bsky.social

No it doesn't, and it's very likely they exaggerated the damage done. That doesn't mean the whole thing was faked, and given the fact that we know real bullets were flying in his general direction, I find the suggestion that it was faked highly unlikely.

Cogitator X @cogitatorx.bsky.social

Where did you see me say it was faked? He didn’t get the top of his ear shot off. Which obviously he didn’t since a) the cartilage doesn’t grow back b) he doesn’t have a chunk missing out of his ear.

I believe the attempt was real. I don’t believe him that the top of his ear was shot off. My guess is he got a nick on it when the SS were taking him down. You have to admit it’s bizarre how they I just dropped it though.

true. cartilage is not very vascular and takes a long time to grow back. the whole thing is fake, including the person who "died" aka, the paid actor.

I've had minor cancer surgery work done on my forehead by a leading plastic surgeon in my part of Australia. I have VERY noticeable scarring now that the stitches are gone. It will be months before the scars fade. And I don't have to worry about cartilage.
