There's already a huge movement and yes I'm part of it (in Massachusetts) however, we live in a TV / computer screened media environment and when we watch it sure would be nice to watch somebody with a backbone standing up to this insanity. That's all I'm saying.
What is the goal of the huge movement and how do they oppose what is coming?
This isn't a gotcha question or a quip. I'm actually curious and how this huge movement might interact with the work we're working on in my little corner of Texas where we're planning for mass deportations and a lot of young trans folks are asking me about learning to buy a firearm.

I love to see actual on the ground organizing. My best wishes for the growth of the organizing. Still stand by my advice to avoid the temptation to look for some great leader to stand up, but focus on what you're building.
The right has been building their movement since 1979. We're all behind the 8 ball right now. But this is how we get a shot around it if we aren't going to be plowed under and have the earth salted over us.
