Sure, but we also all have our own forms of detestable assholes. Here in France for example, the far right and liberal parties are definitely following Trump's formula in aspects, but they also do it in specifically different ways because what Trump did there would just not work here.

It's the same in germany. UK. Netherlands. Italy. Poland. This isn't a coincidence or some global conspiracy. It's systemic. If we find the cause, get rid of it, fine. But it's possible we may have fcked up the entire system.

You mean the rise of Fascism ? Trump didn't do that, it predates his involvment in politics by a lot. It's not a thing that just happens, it took decades of setting things up.

No, he didn't. But he became the most successfull one exploiting it and he is breaking any rules of conduct. He is lowering the bar of what is acceptable. Globally and quickly. We are getting used to it and we keep clicking the headlines.
