Thanks for saving him but how can you take all their squawking? They’re so noisy and are an invasive species. They almost never shut up.🤐

Is that a squawky parrot pic or just a debbie downer?
I’m not even sure how to respond to you with that profile pic rn…your apparent bird of choice makes significantly more noise as a pet than peacocks do. Also, how can you tell it’s an invasive species if the video/post doesn’t mention a location?
By the way, I’d NEVER own an African Grey. There was a time when I wanted one but I researched current reality. They deserve to live wild and free — in Africa. They are currently endangered due to the illegal pet trade. A picture ≠ ownership.
Geezus, tangent much?
It is a fact that peacocks are invasive in Florida. The narrator had an American accent. Maybe the 👩 has them on their farm? Farms & pets are sources of escapees or released 🦚. That’s all I’m saying. A profile picture of a an African Grey has nothing to do with this issue: it’s just an avatar.
I got that, but what I’m saying is your comment of “Thanks for saving this suffering animal, BUT- it’s an annoying species, don’t you think?” is pretty insincere. I understand peacocks are invasive in parts of the US. However, you can’t just pinpoint someone’s region by their supposed accent.
Not what I actually said, but you do you.
Peacocks are beautiful birds who should only be flying free and reproducing in their native country. People have released snakes, Nile crocodiles, lion fish, and 35 other invasive species in just Florida. Doesn’t matter where this person lives. Invasive species are problematic wherever they are.
