I am one. I have cancelled an upcoming trip to D.C. and northern VA. Happy to save the money and spend it on a trip up to Vancouver, BC.
Although we have sympathy for the plight of DC’s restaurants, for those of us who live elsewhere, we are far more concerned with the strangling of our Republic founded as a rejection of rule by kings, dictators or tyrants. Trump’s campaign to install himself as sole ruler is an existential threat.
