Don't always agree with George. But he's right this time. Colleges get away with charging folding money for fake education because loans are easy to get. As loans get more difficult, parents and students will put more RATIONAL thought into their future plans.
It won’t be George Will’s kids going to trade school.
jobs that didn't require college degrees do now, and it is costly in tuition and time for working class people. it is the only avenue out for a lot of people stuck in retail and service industries.

I love my life as the Mahan Professor of Western Civilization and the Perpetuation of Naval Guns at Harvard in 1953. I'm on my 4th book, typed and ably assisted by the little lady at home. My favorite student last year gave me a bottle of Scotch as a present. He's now CIA station chief in Tehran.
