Once again: “trust the experts” doesn’t mean that *no one* questions scientific consensus, it means that *experts* build and debate and question consensus. People without the domain expertise (and society more broadly) are best served by aligning with that consensus if the process isn’t undermined.
None of those clowns would survive reviewer 2. Or any scientific debate for that matter.
