I like David, but he’d rather lose on principle than compromise and win. He’s about as practical as sandals in a blizzard. In case no one noticed, we need to win, and that means in every race we need to think strategically and run the candidate with the best chance of winning.

"compromise" is how we fucking got here. people don't want a spineless compromising DNC that constantly capitulates to the republicans and gets nothing in return. we want a party that will fucking FIGHT them and fight FOR good progressive policy everyone supports.

That’s one axis of the graph, but it’s not the whole solution. In every single race you’ve got to find the furthest left candidate THAT CAN WIN. You can run an AOC clone in New Hampshire and I guarantee you they’ll lose. This isn’t about the electorate you wish you had. It’s about the one you have.

if you only look at the voting habits of people who voted in prior elections, you will forever be moving toward the right. you need to inspire people to vote who have given up because the democrats promise nothing. AOC should be the furthest right of any candidate being run from here on out.
